FREE STINGER DETAIL TRAINING COURSES IN HOUSTON
Stinger Chemical’s team of Reconditioning Specialists, all IDA Certified Detailers, lead our classes monthly in Houston and around the country/world. We offer FREE monthly training modules in both English and Spanish at our headquarters in Houston, TX. These courses range from the basics of detailing a car to advanced paint correction and ceramic installation. You can also learn Stinger’s signature car cleaning method with Detailing by Numbers. The Stinger Chemical training center has the equipment and the staff to host training for any skill level, from beginners to advanced car care professionals. Each attendee will receive a Certificate of Completion to hang in their place of business.

Ceramic Prep, Install, and Maintenance (2.5 hours)
Learn to clean, decontaminate, and strip the surface to prepare for ceramic adhesion correctly. The best, fastest, and correct way to apply ceramic. The most effective way to maintain and care for ceramic coatings after application.
Modernizing your Detailing Process and Reconditioning Center (2.5 hours)
How to use the newest technology and most up-to-date tools to create a faster result without sacrificing the quality of your work. We will cover what you need in your shop and toolbox to overcome and conquer the most common problems, what solutions are available to get the results your customers are expecting, and in a timelier manner to increase profits.
Advanced Product Knowledge (2.5 hours)
Ever wondered why and how chemicals work to achieve the desired results? This unique class will teach you to choose the chemical with the right technology and properties to achieve the fastest and best results while saving you money and headaches.
Detailing by the Numbers (2.5 hours)
This class is the backbone of Stinger’s training classes, as it goes through the complete cleaning process. We discuss the process and procedures that must be accomplished to quickly get the highest quality result without all the daily struggles and problems. Clean, shiny, and cars that smell good in the most comprehensive order to accomplish that.
Distribution Process and Keys to Success (8 hours)
This class is an all-day training for Stinger Distributors only. We discuss the path to success to grow your sales and avoid the pitfalls that can cost you sales and money.
Important things include marketing, proper inventory management, what you need to stock, and how to effectively control it—maximizing margins and handling costs. Who are the core customers you want to target? When, where, and how do you approach, attain, and retain those customers? How do you create a route and utilize your time best once you build a customer base? What tools can Stinger offer you to be the most successful distributor you can be?
Advanced Paint Correction (2.5 hours)
This class discusses the various surfaces we are working on and how to achieve our desired results best. We will go through complete surface preparation to start the paint refinishing process. The various tools and products available and how to choose and utilize the systems available to create the deepest, most refined shine and gloss. We will also cover the protection and types of products we can use for this.
Headlight Restoration to Achieve More Profit (2 hours)
In this class, we will resurface polycarbonate headlight surfaces through various means and discuss the best ways to protect the surface after reaching the desired results.
Advanced Interior Cleaning and Stain Removal (2.5 hours)
This class goes through the various materials we encounter in the vehicles we are tasked to clean and the most effective ways and tools to clean them properly.
When and How to Sand for the Perfect Finish
This class will help get you started on sanding painted surfaces when you find it necessary. The tools and materials you’ll need, the best process for the best results, including hands-on training in the classroom.
Off-Site National End User Training (4 hours)
Determining what your site needs to eliminate problems and achieve the desired results. Ensuring the correct chemicals are on-site and the proper dilution ratios are in place. If the equipment is on-site, we will go through checkout and the proper set-up and maintenance of the equipment.
Off-Site Distributor End User Training (4 to 5 hours)
Learning who Stinger is and how we can help you to make more money and achieve the best results possible in the shortest amount of time. We go through the Detailing by the Numbers program, touching on the necessary chemicals and tools that help you achieve maximum profitability.
